Neil was the first person on the moon with his team of astronauts back in 1969 on the Apollo 11, but he was an american. When he hopped of he said ¨One step for me, and One leap for mankind.¨
He got accepted into NASA when he was 16 and made history on the moon, but he died because of Complications on his Heart Surgery and when he had the Surgery he was 82 and then pasted away.
Have you learned about Neil Armstrong in your school before?

Scaling New Heights
Edmund Hillary as we know him but his full name: Edmund Percival Hillary, Edmund became a Sir in 1953 Edmund, Tenzing and Norgay became the first people to get to the summit of Mt Everest. He was born in July the 20th 1919 but in 2008 he sadly died on the 11th of January at the age 88, but now we have a New Zealand legend in our hearts.
In 1960 Sir Edmund Hillary was involved in the Himalayan Trust and when he found it they touched many peoples lives and many remote schools in and around the Mountians , but guess what he founded it, but there is another one called Edmund Hillary Fellowship.
Have you ever done a blog of Sir Edmund Hillary?
