My Great Speech

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post and today I would like to talk to you about my speech. We had 4 options to choose from, racism, sexism, religious discrimination and ableism.

I chose sexism because I think this is a worldwide problem, I don't think men and women are treated fairly. 

Here is my introduction to my speech.  I hope you like it and lets all stand up to this discrimation.

Today I would like to speak to you about sexism, Sexism is a belief that one gender is superior to the other. It can either affect males or females. When I was researching this topic I found it mostly affects women. This is a worldwide problem and we need to solve it by not standing by but by being an upstander.

My Goals

My goals for term 2 are:

1. I want to get to fuzzy tree topsso to tell my mum and dad also the teachers that I am working well with people and if the teachers aren't looking.
2. I want to stay at this school and not move because I haven't been doing my work at school.

And the last one: To do well in school and get smarter so i can get a good job and get money and get a good home.

Cross Country

Hi guy's welcome back to another blog post, and today I will be talking to you about our school cross country. We had to run 3km and after all I was so tiered and then after my run I decided to run infront of the year 4's and it was hard, I ran with Logan and we just made it out infront and then I went to Zones because I came 3rd and in the Zones I got 15th, and I hope that I got into Canterbury's.

a few weeks ago the kaupeka hub did our art around pbl, we did it about discrimination and how we think we can stop it, I like how we based our art around our P.B.L instead of doing it about a diffrent subject.

This term in PBL we are learning about how to speak up against discrimintion some things we are learning about is Sexism, rasism, Ableism Ect, in our PBL we are talking about going live for a day and my idea is to have a Podcast about Sexism because I think people are being sexus at people because if they are a boy or a girl, they can do the same thing, it doesn't matterif you are a boy or a girl or balck or white we all can do the same thing.
