The Bush

Hi Guys welcome back I was talking to myself to so the Blog for this week then it came to me I can share one of my stories to you guys I worked for a long time on this and I hope you like this.

The Bush

One day I was having a nice walk in the park the I saw a bush with a lil bird that has fell out of it’s nest. I picked up the little bird and then I was trying to find his/hers mother I walked around for hours then the hope was lost then in the corner of my eye I saw it’s mother fly to the bush and she gave worms to the little fantail. I said goodbye to the bird then the bird said (Chirp Chirp) then when I walked away I felt so good in my heart then I had a little tear in my eye. When I got back home I had some chips and dip for the best movie ever it is called Deadpool or Life of the Party. Both of them are a M but my dad lets me watch it but at my house. Next day I was wandering in the forest then I saw the exact same bird then it was flying then I was so proud in the bird then I went home and ate popcorn. On friday I went to a amusement park and then I won a plush bush and my sister and I loved it, when we got home then we were arguing about who gets to put Brady behind the plush bush

Claude: I want to put Brady behind the bush

Josh: “No I do Claude.”

Josh: “paper scissors rock to see who will do it first.”

Claude: “Ok.”

Both: “Paper, Scissors, Rock.”

Josh: “Yay I won.”

Claude: “Oh dang it”

Josh: “Here you go you can do it first”

Claude: “Thx Josh.”

Josh: “you're welcome.”

Claude: “Sike.”

Josh: “Come on.”

Swimming Lessons

Hi welcome back and today I will be chatting to you about our school Swimming Lessons, a few weeks ago we went to QEII and the Swimming Lessons went for 2 weeks and I loved it.I was in the top group so we had to do 500 lengths Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke and Butterfly I loved it so much I want to do more because it fun to swim with my friends I also tried to rase the year 8's but I get beaten all the time, But I don’t care if I kept losing to the year 8’s Although I Kept hope and tried and pushed through to the end.😞

Hi guy welcome back to another blog post and today I will be talking about my biography that I did about Michael Jackson I worked had on I and I hope you Like it.

Biography

Michael Jackson was born on the 29th of August 1958 and he lived in Gary, Indiana, USA. Michael was educated at Montclair College Prep School and he and his family decided to make a famous band called The Jackson 5.He was only five at the time. Then a few years later they changed their name to Jackson 5. He was fifty when they did that and he was the main singer.

The Jackson 5 was Michael Jackson’s first major life event. This was when they made their first song called “Gotta Be There” and he was the lead singer in this song.

later began a successful solo career in 1971 and he helped the Community and the schools.

His second major life event was when his brother’s toured in the early 1970s. However Michael Jackson decided to go on his first solo world tour on September 12, 1987. He first concert was in Tokyo, Japan. There was a massive crowd of people there, more than  2 million people. The average tickets for the tour was $105 and the V.I.P was worth $1,100.

Michael’s last major life event was when he made history when he became the first artist to win eight Grammys in one night at the 26th Grammy Awards, no one else has ever achieved this.

He also won many awards for his music including lifetime achievement awards and hall of Fame awards.

Michael Jackson had a good life traveling with his family doing tours and other stuff like that but he sadly he died because of a drug overdose that was apparently given to him by his doctor.

One of Michael Jackson’s inspiring quotes is: “If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.” This is something I believe is important to live by.

My Dog!!!!!!!!

Last year on July the 17 2018 we drove to the airport and we picked up our little dog called Brady and he is a soft coated wheaten terrrier (he is almost 1 year old) also he is so so cute, here he is.

I love him so much and he nearly got ran over and my mum was so scared but he didn't get ran over cause he's a dog and he is my dog and he is Brady.

I love him so much and if anything happend to him I would loose myself and I would cry for days and days, thats how much I love him

Swimming Sports

It was me and Luca neck and neck but Sam is in the lead and I used all my power and I just won and thats how I got to zones.

Oh hi welcom back, so today I will be tacking about Swimming Sports on Friday the 15th I decided to put myself down for everything there was here are my results.  1st in Freestyle, Breaststroke and House Colour Relay and then I got 2nd in Backstroke and Butterfly, But sadly I only had to pick 3 relay and two events so I picked Breaststoke and Frestyle then Miss Scott said I was entered in a relay and I was so happy.

Prehistoric PBL

This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about design and the big question was: How can we use a Steam approach to make a marketable product?

First we learned what STEAM stood for.
S for Science
T for Technology
E for Engineering
A for the Arts
and M for Maths
Then we were given challenges. The first to make a chair using newspaper, string and straws that was able to hold a figure made out of multi-link blocks. Here's the link Technologey Template
Then; make a table that was able to balance MnMs for the team. We were much better at the second challenge because … We didn’t work as a team we yelled at each other and we didn’t collaborate as well as we should
In Literacy we learned to write up science experiments and to write a technology report using the design process of ask, imagine, plan, create, improve and share.

Our next step was to form teams and ask ourselves the big question again.
How can we use a Steam approach to make a marketable product? Our aim was to create enough products or experiences and sell it to raise money for charity.

Reflection

My highlight from this PBL was… Working in a team and getting our stuff done in the least seconds of the games.  Next time I would… Work in a team better and speak more respecfuly to my team mates.

The Best Proformance Ever

This term our Project Based Learning (PBL) has been about cultural stories and the big question was;
 What is the significance in the 21st Century of our Cultural stories?

First we brainstormed what culture is and came up with lots of ideas. Culture is about our traditional storys
and carrying the old traditions on.
Then we thought about our own culture and talked to our parents about our traditions and heritage.
I wrote a post about my family and things we like to do.
In Literacy we read and discussed myths and legends from around the world then we concentrated
on Maori legends. I read Haputapu and the Bird Woman

We made a performance about the story Battle of the Mountains. Some students wrote the script,
some students took on the job of making all the artwork, some worked hard on organising the music
and others took on the role of bringing the story alive with dance and drama.

Reflection: 
For our production I contributed by making the art and being a bushy boi.

I think the show might impact on others by learning more about the myths and ledgends.

What I learned about working with others was a great way to impact our learning.
